Will making your own work or using Maverick seat tracks work with some sort of mod to them?

 not sure.....the issue (it seems) would be more with the width of the seat than any track issue. Let me go measure the seat.

widest part of the seat (butt part) is 21 1/2 inch tapering down to 18 1/2.
Widest part of back support (shoulder area) is 25 inches.
*this is not the tracks....but the seat itself.

Again, not saying they will or will not fit. I have a flat floor and semi-modified tunnel and don't want to mislead anyone into thinking they will fit a stock maverick when I do not know.
    Also remembering I have a 70'
Later models with the bigger tranny tunnel....I do know.

I understand now. I also did know later years tranny tunnels are larger. Most all the seats I have checked on is about 21-22 inches wide in the butt.

they look great. I am going to get some new bucket/ racing seats, do you have a recommendation for an affordable/ good quality seat? Also, i need to be able to get enough leg room so i can fit. The original seats/ tracks didn't go back far enough, hence why i'm getting new ones!

seats ain't cheap, getting them recovered ain't cheap :D
before I bought these, I did do some looking on ebay and craiglist for seats in my area, but everything I found that I liked would have needed to be recovered.
