i know it came from a dealer down in Texas and it had a four barrel carb and some upgraded intake and of course the body kit. probably forgetting something like wheels
Real ones are cool because they're rare and weird. I think there are maybe two left that are in good shape, and I'd love to see one. But I have to say they are butt ugly. The look almost works for these cars - it sure works for the Datsun 240Z, which I think is dead sexy, but on a Maverick, something about it just looks horribly off. It would need some serious refinement, something to make the lines look intentional instead of something a car dealer's 8 year old son did with Play-Doh after watching Speed Racer.
Dragonfly Contact Doug Bauer or Dbauer, he is the Texas state representative and he just restored one last year. Lee ""THE MAV" Richart
I am in contact with a junkyard that supposedly has 2 Drag n Flys in their yard. The guy is supposed to email me some pictures. My daughter lives about 1 hr away from the place and I am going down there for T Day. So I will probably go check them out in person, then.
