    decided to open up my trunk today and remove some type of mat that covers the metal, oh crap, RUST!!! so bad that if i were to put 50 pounds of stuff, (not saying that i will:naughty:), it will go rite through the trunk, what now???

    do they make replacements:hmmm:

    im going to sand it down today and put some rust stopping spray on it...

    any ideas??:huh:

    pics would help, but if its as bad as it sounds, I'd cut it all out and put in a custom floor......in doing that, you could clean it up and make the fuel cell look like it belongs there.

    If it's that bad... what do you think the "stop rust" spray is going to do? :huh: :rolleyes:


    Ill put in my vote for the rust bullet & fiberglass method... If it's not too severe.

    found out today thay jcwitney has floor pans but it sounds like to me its a cusom order which means big $$$

    check your rear window gasket and trunl lid seal for dryrot that would allow water in
