POWERBALL: It was one of the things on my Christmas list so I thought I would try it out. Here is a before and after of one wheel. I did all 4 with the same beginning and ending look. It took about 30 minutes total....thats the kind of cleaning I like Next is to pull the valve covers and see if they will clean up, if not I will powder coat them.
is that the powerball that chip uses in his commercials?? that's pretty crazy, did it take the scratches out too?
What polish did you use? I think I need something that has 200Grit steel wool mixed in to get mine to look that good.
i got the power ball for my bday last summer. its awsome. i use the mothers powerball alum polish with the powerball. my wheels are draglites that werer pretty bad. the powerball made really short work of polishing them and maintance is really easy.
I am really interested in seeing how it works on my valve covers, I have a little something to do around the house this weekend, but hopefully I will have time to pull them off and try it.
yes Foose gets paid to talk good about it....my wheels where really only dirty and oxidized, no scratched to speak of.

I follow the old saying: take the laziest person, give them the toughest job and they will show you the easiest way to do it when it comes to cleaning/detailing; that would be me
I agree with John simple to use and very effective. I have the Powerball mini and used Mothers Power Metal pollish with it. Just store it in a ziplock bag after use. I have some Wizards products I need to try with it as well.
