I have a '72 Sprint with blue and white interior. Blue arm rests are showing the black rubber pad. White interior quarter panels are patchy yellow and deteriorating (powdery surface) in a few small areas with sun damage. Anyone know how to treat these problems? Maybe a rubberized paint for the arm rests? Vinyl dye on the exposed rubber? Something to seal the yellowing and stabalize the quarter panels and then apply vinyl dye? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Jim
I redid my interior (blue to black) with SEM Surecoat. It's rather costly, but you'll get a very professional result. There are numerous instructions and a few vids on the VinylPro site. Call or e-mail Thad for advice. Russ
Russ, Looks good! Should be able to find answers there. I saw on another thread that OxyClean was used. That's probably worth a try to remove the yellowing on the interior quarters. Thanks! Jim
