Engine compartment is done, remaining bare metal is undercoated. I sprayed the headliner (black) and we got the dash in last Thursday. Ray'll get the glass company to put in the front and rear windows, then he'll hang the doors, fenders, hood and trunk. It's about two weeks from coming home. I'll bug him for some new pix...

Russ, aren't you installing aftermarket air? Will/do you have any pics of that going in? :)

Nothing new, but here are some pix of the hanger bracket I built and what it (uninversal Vintage Air Gen II Supercooler) looks like bolted in place. There were some mods to the defroster duct (that I can't find a pic of) and it's pretty tight behind the dash now. Certainly doesn't intrude into the footwell area though!

Looks awesome :) Is that round vent on the end one that came with the kit? Will there be a couple of those vents in the center, and one on the drivers end as well? Thanks for the info.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like there is already one on the drivers side. Missed that at first. Still wondering about center vents though :)

The package tray is from a factory air car, I got it from Craig Selvey. Here's a pic of the center vents, bought from "Old Air Products" for $12.50 each. I bought my Vintage Air kit w/o vents because I wasn't sure which vents I'd get...

New pix! ;) Glass guy should be here next week to install front and rear glasses. "Peel and Seal" on the firewall will be extended to the floor before carpeting. Wiring looks worse than it is, there's lot's of stuff going in the console, plus the Vintag Air stuff. The tray with the MSD box has updated blade-type fuses, relays, and flashers (from the original fusebox), along with the shift-light controller. It will be on a pull-out slide under the dash.

Nice! I also cant wait to see what you do with the back seat/quarter plastics. I plan on a mini-tub also and wonder what mods are needed. :)

The quarters were coped around the tubs, the seat base fits w/o mods, and the seat back needed minor narrowing. I'm debating on having the frames done or just using carpeted 1/4" plywood. Having the seats done will be another $500+ while I can do the the plywood for 1/10 that (I recently found out my Pontiac G6 seats are from a 4 door and do not fold forward for rear seat access). :( I did manage to snag a complete upholstery set off E-Bay (factory front buckets and rear seat base and back) for $21.00 ($8.00 bid plus shipping), :) but the cost of modding it and fitting it to the Mav. seat frames...
