I have a 72 Grabber and I would like to restore under the hood to original. It is a 37K mile car but definitely needs touched up and painted. Anyone have pics of a nice original or restored to original engine bay? Whole engine bay not just engine. You can PM me or email me at hwsluhawk@centurytel.net Thanks Brian
Pretty close, if you remove the chrome valve covers, the chrome air cleaner lid,the Pertronix distributor, headers, and the power brake booster.. (but I like it)
I notice you have the Battery OK sticker. Very cool. Mine is still there and dated 11/71. Taped it off when I did the compartment.
DMHINES..will you email me that pic and any others you have so I can save them on my computer for future reference. If you do not care. Thanks
Here is a better set of pics ... This Grabber is Original ... no restoration ... Keep in mind ... a 1972 car will have all Motorcraft stamped parts ... 71 and Earlier are Autolite ... http://web.mac.com/dmhines/Our_Website/Price_Grabber.html
One can also purchase those stickers new. I have seen a few cars over the years with the sticker still on them. Never been able to read them though due to the raveges of time.
I currently have a repop one in mine where I just wrote in some info ... I don't recall where I ordered it from but I also have one that is custom made with factory looking stamp and info on the label with correct date depending on build date of your car. I've been to lazy to remove the generic one so I can install the custom one ...
