AK has jacked the prices on quarters to 292.00 before shipping. Is there another place that sells them for a more reasonable price? AFAIK, all of the panels you find are stamped from the same place right?

Sweet. Snagged me some quarters. Both quarters plus shipping to my door was cheaper than just the quarters without shipping from AK.

Just an FYI, the ebay seller I linked to dropped another $70 off the total price AFTER I already bought from the first seller. I could have saved even more had I been a little more patient, but that is the story of my life. I anyone else is looking for quarters, shoot ammuscle an email, they are selling the panels cheaper than anyone else I have found. (around $135 each).

Let me know when you get the quarters. I would like to see them. Also if you need a hand putting the new ones on let me know.

Thanks, I appreciate that. It will be my first major bodywork attempt, so I may end up buying more after I trash these ones lol.

Well, got the skins in, but I am disappointed that the drivers side panel has quite a bit of surface rust. Do you think it will be fine to just da it off and epoxy prime it? Is it normal for aftermarket sheet metal to be fuzzy like this or should I talk to the vendor about a replacement? The passenger side looks fine. I have already left the place I bought them from a message. Hopefully they can work me some sort of partial refund or something, as I don't feel like this is something I should have to deal with on a new panel. :(

Wow, no wonder they dropped the price... I'd think you want to get that cleaned off as soon as you can, and make sure you get the rust out, maybe spray them with some weld through primer for now.

LOL. Unfortunately, the OTHER seller was dropping their price to try and get me to buy from them. I paid more for these, but the deal had been done before the other company dropped their price. Anyhow, Im going to see what the vendor says before I get too much more upset. I would never have put something that looked like that into a box to ship. What are people thinking these days?!

Well, I paid $225 each before shipping, so really they are overpriced AND sub-standard quality :( The more I look at it the more I know I don't want to use it. Its pretty scaly in spots. I am working with the vendor now, but these were drop shipped from THEIR supplier (Sherman and Associates).

If you don't get it worked out and end up with a refund, I found a place that sells quarters for $156 plus shipping of course. They also have lots of other Maverick body parts some glass some steel. Very good prices!

I was hoping to find some used patch panels from some one parting out a car for mine, but if it doesn't work out I may buy these.

Be careful with Showcars Bodyparts. Many of us have been screwed by them.
