Roll Call: Standard Drivetrain maverick owners

id just like to know how many owners here have standard (stickshift/ manual, [COL = clutch on floor]) drivetrain maverick/comvet(s) in here.

let me know if you have a V8 or I6 by the way

 

Standard as in factory stock,,,, or as in standard shift,,?

 

as in stick shift.

 

My '73 was a 250/3 on the tree with A/C originally. Someone converted it to a C4 at some point. When they did, they just conveniently tucked the clutch pedal under the carpet instead of removing it. How nice of them.

 

my 72 mav was a 302 with c4 and i rebuilt the motor and put a 3 speed from and old junk truck. i had to fab up the clutch myself. but it was worth it.

My '72 Sprint is a 200/3 speed column shift.
My '71 Grabber is a 200/3 speed floor shift.

 

Mine is a '73 Maverick with a 250 I-6 and a 3-on-the-tree.

 

289, toploader 4 speed in the 70 grabber. 302, borg warner 4spd in the 73 grabber. And a 351w t-5 in the 71 4dr. Only mav I have thats auto is my 71 grabber and thats cause its 95% original

 

Converted 3 on the tree to T5 in the floor.

 

69.5 Maverick - 393 stroked CJ Cleveland with a top loader 4 speed.

 

74 Maverick 302 w/ 4-speed Toploader, originally a 3 on the tree.

 

72 Sprint 302, stock 3 on the tree, but converted to toploader 4 on the floor.
75 Mav 302, stock c4 column shift auto, converted to toploader 4. (rolling shell right now)
