Smack-dab in the middle of the state. It's a good, easy drive for a LOT of Maverick and Comet lovers. Come one; come all to the inaugural Dixie Maverick Stampede!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like a fun day, but who picked Denny's to eat at? Yuk. Denny's food is awful.

There is no way to please everyone but We figured since thay had a WIDE variety on the menu it would be easier for people to get something they would like. The Denny`s at Byron is usually pretty good when we stop there on the way back from the Dragstrip.

Byrons other choices are Wendy`s,MickyD`s, Subway, Zaxby`s, and Pizza Hut (I`ve heard the pizza Hut is lousy).

Maybe I will drive out there and "test" the Denny`s soon to make sure it is still up to Par. :tiphat:

I may have just had a bad experience with the few Denny's that I have been in. If we get to come, we might just have to skip Denny's and go to Zaxby's. I know they're good!

If Denny's is all that you can find wrong with the day, we've done a very good job.

We ate at the only other family style restaurant in Byron and we weren't impressed. The Denny's at Byron and the Denny's on the way to Summit are both good places to eat. Of course, I figured with Bobby being a truck driver, he could eat anything. :bouncy:

That's the problem Terry, I've been subjected to some of the worst things called food you have ever tasted. :D I'm not that familiar with the Byron area as far as food goes, that is drive through country for me. Not many places to park, so I have to drive on through :drive:

Well, I hope I can make it. My choice is to hang out with the Maverick guys. I've been going up there for the last few years (Fun Ford/Ford South Show) and always enjoy myself. I would not have made that trip if the Maverick guys had not been there. Told the wife today to plan on it...hopefully nothing comes up to make us change the plan. :)
