Great! I just picked up some junk 275/60 15s to test fit under my '73. No problems rubbing?

Sounds good! You can hardly hear the exhaust over the fuel pump. :D Holley blue pump?

Looks like it is time for a posi as well.

    :thumbs2:

    I won't start anything about your rubbing...:D

I like the sound of the exhaust. What is the idle set to?
That other sound does sound like a fuel pump, is it? I sure hope mine don't be that loud. Of course some recording equipment will pick up some sounds over others and make it seem worse than it is.

Yeah, that is a holley blue pump. It does sound louder in the video than normal but I still want to get a quieter electric pump or may go to mechanical.

I have a locker in it but for some reason it didn't seem to be working the day I did that mark, works now though.

I have 4.5 backspacing with a 7/16 spacer to keep the tires from rubbing the inner fender. I would like to get a 9" out of 57 Ford so that I don't need the spacers anymore.

I bought a Holley HP150. There are several members that have installed the HP125 and said they are quiet.

The combination of the x-pipe and the spintech mufflers definitely has a recognizable sound characteristic. Its not what I would call a musclecar sound, more like a racecar sound. It sounds all business to me. I think thats a hell of a nice system. It will probably get slightly quieter and deeper as carbon builds up. I am lovin the side exhaust. Since my Mav is technically my wifes Mav, she won't let me change the exhaust. She thinks you should be able to have a conversation in the car while driving :hmmm:. I have Ultra Flo's and full 2-1/2s with an h-pipe on my mav. I am getting itchy to take it for a drive, but the salt on the ground is holding me back...

I ran mine straight out the back, and made a small cut out in the rear valance to tuck them up a little tighter.

Uh oh, here we go.:) No offense intended but I'm not a big fan of the bobcat look either. Dont care for the factory Mav lights (pinto) but I guess I'm stuck with em. The bobcat lights look like an even bigger version of the factory lights I dont care for. Thats just me though. We build our cars how we want them to look not how everyone else wants it. I'll black mine out so they are a little less of an eye sore.
