faceless, I think lowering the back would look sweet. I love the painted bumpers. And the side pipes. This is one of the sweetest cars on this board IMHO.
Wow, thanks! I've got about 2.5" difference in height between the front and the back, been trying to decide whether I want to put 2" blocks on it or go with 1". I used to think equal height front and back was the only way to go, but then I see it looks kinda mean with a little rake, and the body lines work well at that angle. Plus I'm not sure how safe a 2" block would be. Not sure which way I'm gonna go, but either way the back is a bit too high right now...
Point. I guess I could also play with the assortment of leaves in my spring pack, but I really like the way they feel right now. I'll go with the 2" and see how that works.
Mine actually hit speedbumps so I went with a touch bigger front tire. 195/60 to 215/60 was all it took to get me high enough to clear them.
2.5" difference between front and back, measured from the ground to the fender lip. Sig pic shows worn stock springs before I replaced them. If you look at the wheel hub's relationship with the bottom of the body and compare to others, you'll see the rear suspension isn't much higher than stock, if at all. What exaggerates it so much is the fact that the front is so drastically lower. It's not quite as obvious in this pic... This was after I did the rear springs but before I did the front. Now that the front is even lower, it makes the back look jacked up when it's really not. Here's one from before I did anything to the springs. Looked good, but floppy. Okay guys, you have me convinced. 2" blocks are going on this weekend. Pics ASAP.
