Well, then I guess you don't want them bad enough. You could always just cut the bottoms off and glue them onto the hood. Then continue to use the hood latch. Picking on you...now THIS is fun!
On a Maverick, if you put them in the rad support, they look too far back, I use to have a picture of one off Ebay, but I can't find it, they looked goofy.
There is a poll now. Sometimes it takes a while between the posting of the complaint and the posting of the poll. I mounted mine in the radiator support and I thought it looked just fine...
I was gonna swap out the hood bumpers with the pins. But I keep freaking out when its time to drill . Glue fake pins on?? I'll do that while installing the curb finders and the huge wing antenna on the trunk.
I voted yes...but not for the muscle car look...for necessity.Hood likes to lift up at ludacris(SP?) speed.Yeah I used to drive mine really fast.I got older and slower LOL... if you dont really need them...dont cut up a nice hood.
I agree.....I have a glass hood and pins where really the only option. BUT when I had a stock hood.....that latch sure hurt everytime I hit it
