I voted no. I have a spare Grabber hood with hood pin holes closer in than the picture posted on the first page. If you decide to go the hood pin route, I'll gladly trade mine with the holes already drilled for your hood.
depends on which type of pins, I think some look really cheap(though still do the job) but there are some nice ones out there.
I put pins in my new Shelby hood and believe me that was hard too. I just had to do it though to finish off the Shelby look and I'm pleased with the end result. I also mounted mine straight in the rad support.
Just had a scary thought I thought I would share. Dont change back to the old hood and forget about the pins.
i had locking ones made by Mr gasket.....needed a key to get in... http://www.statracing.com/buy/mr-gasket-hood-pins.asp They were hard to install on fiber glass grabber hood....it was a heavy duty hood and was layered.... I like piece of mine everytime I walked in some where andleft the car in a lot nobody was going to steal my battery or dump bolts down the carb/intake
That is a 74 pictured, with an older grill. I had no center emblem to designate it as being a MAV, so I put my old emblem onto this grill. Then had to put SOMETHING in the big empty spot in the middle. I have since come across 2 center emblems, and honestly don't know if I still have the later emblem on there or not. Car is under a cover and has been most of the last year, until I get a new transmission.
