some one here is doing it cant remember who but i saw a sketch, personally i dont like lambo doors on any car except for lambos. Here in so-cal there so cliche everyone has them now even the soccer moms.
ive never liked them. ive had to open them once and seen them opened by others alot. they are flimsy and scary. they feel like they will come apart and cause damage and even hurt somebody.
Theres a shop in cedar rapids that has done many lambo set ups. I've seen it done on lincolns, older impala's and few others my old timers won't allow me to remember. These guys do a very nice job. They do the whole hydralic suspension and some other trick stuff. They consist of one older geunius and a bunch if younger go getters. Pretty cool group, I've hung out there a couple of fri. nites on my bike and I think every cool car or bike around stops and ponders at the rides. Lambo on Mav? Not me I like that old school stuff! But I'm old too!
Yeah. And I don't think it would do much to increase the value either. Just ask that guy with the 22" rims.
the kits cost between 400-1000 in just parts the labor would probably be another 500-1000. I've also seen the made in china brands for $100 at local swap meets but i wouldn't go near them with a 10 foot pole.
yeah i have seen universal kits that you can install yourself find on ebay for $300+ but if they are to big you have to cut a peice out of the fender
