Yup, that's Michael Perdue's old car. Just a year since the truck dropped her off at my house. I was stunned at how rust-free it was, considering it's whole life was spent up in the Pacific Northwest... Russ
If someone has swapped in an early 8 inch center section it will not have a fill plug. If it is the stock one in your car it is on the side of the carrier. Likely covered in crud.
some 9" thrid members didnt have a fill plug in the case. there housing had a fill plug in it. you can drill and tap a hole for a pipe plug in the back of the housing at the level of the bottom of the axle tubes.
