anyone with tailpipe through the rear valance?

    I'm gonna redo the exhaust (probably have it redone but try it first myself) and I wanted to know if anyone has cut holes through the rear valance to exit the exhaust through? If you have any good pics of some tail pipe idea please post.

    im not sure about straight through it but i have seen one that cut reliefs out of the rear valence to tuck it up more... looked great

    The mav is gone but i'm still here!
    i'm been thinking about it but i have a 76 tank which requires the pipes to be routed more outward so i think it would look weird, but with an early tank they might look good with square tips like a cuda.

    i have a 70 and i wouldnt be able to route mine more inward :hmmm:

    still have to hug the springs

    I'm in the middle of doing this on my V8 74 Maverick. I'll have pictures of it pretty soon. Hasn't been to easy to do, but will be definitely different.
    I did convert to small bumpers and valances.

    71 grabber red and black; 74 2dr LDO comet
    both mustang and cougar had several variations on this theme, look at some of those for parts and ideas if needed. my favorite look was the shelby square in the middle but that was a convaluted pile of pipe that probably didnt flow as good as straight out.
