Say, anyone know what LA means on the car info tag for Trim. Color is 4F, which is the Lime Green Met. but what it is the Trim LA mean?? Thanks in advance!
You didn't specify the year Here is the info http://home.comcast.net/~petebre/maverick/decode/index.html
Sorry shouldn't have assumed you would see the pic and capt. (My 72 Grabber) at the bottom of the page. So 1972 Maverick Grabber. Thanks!
I don't have "LA" in my book, just BA,AA,CA,EA,& FA. Which are all black, but different configurations.
I was guessing you were looking at another when you said Lime (not the color on the car in your signature) and code LA.
Okay, so trim Black means that the hood, trunk and side stripes are blk correct? And then they add the buck seat to the trim package? It is true the seats are the high buckets, but as you can see the guy painted the car yellow with the blk stripes--I want to make it back to the original colors and needed to know what the stipes were. Just a quick one then--how about the rear of the car, around the tail lights, blk I imagine? Where did you find this info? Thanks for the info!
The trim code actually refers to the interior color, material and seat style. In your case you have a black vinyl bucket seat interior. What color stripes came on the car can be a little harder to figure out, but there are certain color combos that are typical.
Yeah.....trim code has nothing to do with the stripe colors. I would suggest starting another thread and we can help you figure out stripe colors
