I've run Dutchman 33 spline for 8 years in my 64 Comet, strange spool, runs 11.20's no problem foot braking it.
I have heard nothing but good things about dutchman.. Makes me worry about moser my brothers rearend was together with 31 spline or 33 spline mosers(been awhile)
I wouldnt worry. Mine have made it 10 or so years with literaly a 1000 passes and lots of street miles on a spool.
strange and mark williams have axles that are really close in price to mosers, yukon (you got conded) and dutchman (dutchman and yukon splines there axles the same way moser does, they heattreat a bunch of axle blanks then cut the length and spine them to order, so the top of the sline is in hard materal and the botom of the spline is in soft metal. strange, mark william, somers brothers, toms axles all are cut and splined then heat treated making the whole spline hardened.
Been a Moser Dealer since '87,never,have had one come back on a street car,or drag car,and I'll bet I sell close to 100 sets a year, circle track guys break the flange off from getting hit it the wheel, but i've got guys running in the 8's (1/4 mile ) with a trans brake and No problems,a slight twist at the splines on a Drag car is common or they would break, spools on the street are really hard on axles though.
