'The Bumper Shop' in CA...

    has anyone ever used them to rechrome their bumpers. they had a booth setup at Columbus and i grabbed a flyer from them. any year 70-77 Maverick or Comet bumper for $220 w/ exchange

    Never heard of them. Just hope it's not BumperBoyz using a different name.

    that's what i was thinking. one of the reasons i posted it up, just to make sure no-one (including myself, lol) gets screwed by them

    whats the problem with Bumper Boys. from Cali. They have been at Columbus lots and no has said any bad about them.:huh:

    Well, they only warranty their chrome for 2 years. I have 2 of their bumpers that started going bad after 3 years and this is on my blue car which stays in a garage and seldom sees any kind of bad weather.
    And I won't even begin to tell you the problems I had when I first purchased from them. Never again! :16suspect

    My chrome guys, showed me 2 bumpers done buy them, one had the chrome peeling off in good sized chunks, the other started rusting like crazy after a year and a half.
