well i got the mav painted blue and black, but the interior is still green and gold. im gonna get the seats reuphostered of course, but the door pannels are in bad shape from having to work on the door latch. so where could i find new door pannels for my 71 mav? also what kind of paints can i use for the dash pannels and other parts of the interior? i kno i can get carpet from auto krafters, but is there any where else i can get it and headlinners etc...........?

you can make door panels fairly easily. I used 1/4 inch plywood but something thinner would be better. Vinyl over foam sewed together to get the pattern you want. I got a heavy duty needle and thread vinyl and foam from Hancock fabricks.

I got headliner and carpet off e-Bay. I also glued foam to the roof before I put the headliner in. It may help with noise and also insulation.

sounds like a good idea, what about the parts that hold the pannel to the door, those clips, i thought they were made into the panel

I have wondered the same thing myself, I am about to order some that say custom but I am sure there will be cutting to size. But hope not!
