I was thinking about using some chrome Maverick emblems, from the Maverick SUV sold in Europe, somewhere on my car. I like the slanted ones better than the straight ones. Anyone have an idea where I might get any? I have checked Ebay Great Brittian with no luck. Possibly some of our Europeon members could chime in? :Handshake
I´ve been looking into this tonight in some different places, nothing on the web but I´ll make a couple of calls tomorrow and see what I can come up with!!!! All the best!!! Robert.
Thanks for the help, Robert. I spent some time today looking for the emblems. I'm surprised that I couldn't find any at all. I'm thinking about maybe contacting a new car dealer in Europe and see if they can be ordered new. Also hard to believe that Ebay has nothing.
My best guess is that the car is too "new" (for us swedes anyway ) , the Fords I see here all around me is the Ford Focus and The Ford Escort (family cars), I looked at the biggest used car parts place/forum in sweden and they had som parts for the maverick, but not much... But hopefully I can get som emblems of a crashed car that some junkyard have taken care of, starting last year they took away the possibility to get any money from your cars (I mean all cars thet you want to get rid off) when giving them away to the junkyard (now you actually pay for it) so everyone not leasing/hiring tend to stick to their car untill it falls to pieces...
Ive looked all over the web for almost an hour and couldnt find anything...the Ford Maverick(Ford Escape in the US) was only produced between 2001 to 2004 for the european market and again in 2005 and 2006 for the russian market, it was discontinued in 2006, if that helps any. So the only years youll find the emblem are from 2001 to 2006, if the european and russian markets kept the same emblem
What do you mean? step 1 google fordpart uk step 2 e-mail dealers tell them what you want ( it took me three) step 3 pay for parts step 4 parts show up that easy I sware.
I was searching for "Emblems" but I re-searched using the word "Badge" instead and I've had more luck.
