I haven't gotten the down here to Emporia yet, but I do remember one of the major problems with the car is that the floorboards have rusted out. The car is, quite literally, a Fred Flinstone car. You can see the ground under the car through the floor. So, anyone have an idea on what the best way is to fix this?

There are no reproductions floor pans made for Mavericks, but some guys have had luck using Mustang pans. Try using the search option, it will provide more information than I can remember. Or the other option is finding some good ones, cut from another car.

Thanks for the info. I was also curious if/how much the floorboards contribute to the structural integrity of the car?

The pans contribute quite a bit of structural integrity since the car is a unibody platform. If the pans are hammerd that bad how are the torque boxes and frame rails???

Not sure right now, it's sitting out at my grandma's farm 2hrs away from where I am at the moment, and I haven't been under the car since I was 12 or so.
