Never mind what is year correct. Which turn signal lens looks better on my Maverick

I vote for the amber lens. It makes everything flow better with the Orange paint. A third clear lens looks out of place because the other two are surrounded by black with chrome strips and it is not.

Funny you should ask, being I'm cloneing my old '71 Grabber I have white sport lamps (yellow bulbs) but I have perfect yellow T/S lens which should be white, last night "Acornridge" (sp) had a set of NOS clears I've been looking everywhere for,so when I get them and put yellow bulbs in them I"ll have to make the same choice, only my car is black...

    I have amber lights.
And I voted clear.......I just think they look so much better at night and thats when it matters IMO (y)
Close the garage door, turn out the lights (in the garage) and put your parking lights on with one (lense) on each side and then decide.

I like 'em yellow better, but trying them both with the lights out is a great idea and should help you decide.

After seeing the picture posted by Craig, I voted clear ... I was really undecided looking at the close shots, but I think that orange is a very strong color and the contrast would be good.

I have been thinking about adding some amber turn signals to the valence of my green Comet, and similar to Frank, use them as fog lights, along with the amber turn signals in my grille. If my car was a different color, clear lenses for all might be a consideration.
