I am going to have my 71 comet body and paint done. It is tagged as #3 "bright Red" for 1971. I want to do a two stage but original color. Is there a way to get a pigment formula or do I need to have him mix it to match a color chip. If it not going to be original I may as well do a custom color. Any Ideas?

The guy that painted my car had no problem mixing 71 Bright Red in a two stage formula ...

My first car was a #3 red MAVERICK and that is a very nice looking shade of red.

Thank guys, The body is almost done , I got all the new door, trunk, cowl,F&B glass gaskets. There was no bondo, can ya believe it? Now I just need to get all that chrome ready to put back on. Someone from the forum is going to send me hood hinges. I've had so much great help from here. That T5 conversion would have drove me to drink without the advice.
