I think Okibono and Erick-Mav will have something to say about that.

I remember talking with someone at San Diego Gear & Axle about doing an article a few years ago, but I don't remember what happened with it. Maybe James L ended up doing something with it?

Mine was built by Westside Performance and the housing was customized by Race Cars & Stuff in San Marcos.

Oh yea, of course you too. I've been watching your ride kick ass for years! Maybe one day we can all meet up.

So far the quickest Mavericks I know of of are:

    > Don Bowles: 8.66 on motor
    > Lentech's yellow Mav: Low 8s?
    > Okibono: 88mm turbo? Almost done?
    > Erick-Mav: F1R Procharger, in progress.
    > CometGT74: Mid 5s in the 8th?

So far the Comet's are dominating...:)

I just hope I can finish my car and then get down the track without blowing it up.:D I'm gonna post some update pics soon in another thread.

I'm looking forward to updates and pics from CometGT1974, riporter, Okibono, and anyone else with a Maverick/Comet drag car...what's up guys???

I'm currently bracket racing my car with a nitrous motor in it (NOT juicing it) the car is deadly consistent with this setup and will go mid 5.70's in the heat...go figure:hmmm:
I've shot it once with a 100 shot on the fogger and went 5.45 at 127...I've got to get a progressive controller before I work my way up to the 450 shot the motor was built to take..what it will do is anyone's guess but I REALLY want to get in the 4's...:D
