Fender Bolt Color??

    What color were the "top Fender bolts" off the assembly line? Were

    they the silver or the gold looking bolt? also how about the Hood Latch

    assembly to the hood???

    Before 1974 they were yellow cad (gold), after 1974 they were painted body color.

    I have seen 1970's painted body color. It just depends on what assembly plant was the car built at....and how did they paint/assemble it.

    My 71 Kansas City were Gold Cad ... not sure about hood latch .. but I left ALL my bolts gold cad when I put it back together after paint.
