Yea, that was pretty funny. This was my first time meeting him, and seeing his car. So I walk over and start looking his car over, when the hood immediately catches my attention. Underneath a flat black rattle can job that was peeling off, was a green color that looked awful familiar. The same green on portions of Frank's car, in fact. And a dent in the same spot... what are the odds? So I ask David where he got the hood, and he told me from Tim. The hood on this car was the factory hood off Patches. Frank sold it to Terry, and Terry put it on the '74 Grabber. Terry sold the '74 Grabber to me, and I rattle canned the whole front of the car flat black.

Here is a pic from the day I did that in March of 2005:

Well, I later swapped a Comet hood on the Grabber, and put this hood in my shed. While in my shed, someone broke into the shed and knocked it over, it fell on a tool box and put a crease in it.

Well, I did complete that deal with Tim Holland on the Comet grill, I took the creased hood to him and that was the last I saw of it. Until this morning.

We were talking about putting it back on Patches just for old times sake. :rofl2: It's amazing how these parts travel around.

I hung out with the guys and then left to go to a meeting of a Camaro-Firebird club. They actually have monthly business meetings and discuss everything about clubbing, but not the cars. I went to lunch with them. The ladies chose the place and dominated the lunch conversation. What kind of company is Slumber Party? I think these ladies do in-home pajama sales. What's that got to with cars!!!!!!! That club is mostly made up of guys that own the '91 and newer stuff.

I left that meeting and went back to the Ford show to regain some degree of normalcy. :yup:
