170ci 3spd to 5.0 3spd - What's needed?

    HA.HA.HA., wiseguy. I will get a new transmission if I can afford it or the obamanator allows more student aid. Besides, I wanna keep the column shift. maybe I should just get a 302 3 spd.

    haha. "i gots a 302. okayyyy~:tsk: (closest to a LaShonda or SheQuinta smiley I could find...)" Two matter of fact. albeit they are scattter around the state. The "Build a Kid a Maverick Foundation" is now accepting 250/302 3 spd donations.

    I figure either way i'll have to rebuild it. So I think i am just gonna use my case and rebuild it with the wide gear ratio. I sent out some emails for quotes on prices. I might just send the transmission to one of the rebuild guys. I not too smart but I think I could probably do it myself. It would be light too, as I am sure I'd have parts left over...
