Air cleaner and valve cover paint color...

    I know its "Ford" blue, but can I buy it at Oreilly'sor other parts store in a can. Does it have a certain # or code. Wanting to repaint valve covers and air cleaner on my 72 Grabber. Thanks Brian

    Yeah it says "FORD BLUE" look at the engine paint.

    There is Ford Blue and Ford Dark Blue. Yours is likely Ford Blue.

    rthomas that is wha I am trying to figure out. I went to Oreillys today and they have Old Ford blue and Ford blue in the Krylon engine enamels. Anyone know for sure what color the valve covers and air cleaner are supposed to be??? Brian

    I used Krylon from NPD, I'll see if there is a number on the can...

    Ford corporate blue(the dark one) for all ford engines after 68.
