do they make blocks or something for this... like a 3 inch truck lift my fat tires are rubbing (probably due to the tire ot being balanced) and i want to keep them on
Nope, blocks won't work - Mav leafs are mounted under the axle, so any block you add would lower it. Buy some 4 leaf leaf springs to get your ride height back. Ditch the air shocks. Air shocks = problems. Resist the temptation for huge shackles too.
Sad to say I was going to suggest that(minus the oak blocks), its what we do to allot of leaf sprung jeeps for a cheap 5" lift.
First of all you should get tires that fit. Second of all jacking up the rear shifts weight towards the front of a vehicle that is already nose heavy. Lastly, air shocks put more pressure on an area that was not designed to support the weight of the car. But if you insist on working with what you got, get rid of the air shocks and have your springs reached. Very cheap fix.
Agreed. If you really want to run air shocks, build a brace that spans from frame rail to frame rail and mount the upper shock mounts to it. Otherwise, air shocks will tear out the upper shock mount. I have seen several cars with this damage.
you can get what is called a flip kit. its normaly used to lower mini trucks but it will raise a car. you will have to do something custom to mount the shocks if you use this kit.
