yeah i dont mind it too much after i slam my door into those short little post at the gas station lol but besides that i dont really like it too much
When I did mine, I started out using a piece of copper pipe I flattened out to put behind the holes. Without a helper to hold the copper for you it can be a bit cumbersome. After a few holes I decided it was easier to cut small squares of sheetmetal and use a welding magnet to hold them flat against the inside of the fender, then plug weld the hole from the outside. I don't mind a few little metal squares stuck to the inside of the fender.
Yeah my car has an aftermarket trim.. My 71 and its missing a peice so im gonna take it all off and have fixed?? You dont even need a welder do you?
