that would be a 1970 chin spoiler, 69 shelbys never got them, :) or is it a 69 mustang one? i dunno if the mustang and shelby ones are the same.

looks great tho!, love it, did you have to cut it at all to fit? or just bolt and go?

Nice. I prefer the profile of the MAS spoiler but after buying one, the quality is so sub standard, I just couldnt mount it. Yours looks like a good alternative. The black looks nice with the orange too.(y)

Made of black plastic. Has a textured finish. I just bolted it on as is.

I thought it was a 1969 Shelby spoiler??? That is what Nick Dominick told me. Blame him!! :D

I know out of all the Mustang spoilers in the booth....it was the most expensive one they had.

No cutting required, but I know Nick Dominick said he cut/trimmed his before he mounted it.

nope the 69's never came with them from the factory, the 70 Shelby's were left over 69 cars that where converted to 70's, they got the front spoiler added as-well as black stripes on the hood. So yea, it would technically fit a 69 :) Now i asked my dad and like i thought the mustang and the shelby front chins are different.

will have to look into it, love the look of it! any fully pics with the complete car in it?

I like it. I prefer the angle, higher from the ground.

    Another good job from Craig.

I prefer the angle as well. Others I have seen look more like a "sail" in the wind....or a "shovel". With the way mine is mounted...ground clearance is not an issue either.

Thanks for all the kind words fellow Maverickers!!

I like it Craig. I too like the angle and it looks like it fits good. No gaps or sagging like plastic parts tend to do. I have always wanted one on my car but was never happy with the quality. That looks like a good one.

do you trust everything you see on the Internet?..thats not proper for the car, most-likely added after.....trust me, i've spend over ten years restoring and researching 69 shelbys, i promise you the 69 shelby did NOT COME WITH A front spoiler. He'll i'll bet you the 69 thats sitting in the garage....like a said the 70 modle year got them
also another part thats not right on that car...the rims are re-pops...

70's were just retagged 69's so ..... It's been years since I've had my Shelbys and they were both 68's but no late 69's came with them? seems odd they would just retag 69's for the 70 model year and purchase and add something not on the 69's
