I'm trying this again. The last one messed up on me so I deleted it and started over. Hopefully it works this time!

How many configurations has your car gone through while you have owned it?

Beater? Daily Driver? Full Restoration? Street Machine? Drag Racer? Custom Show Car?

I'm just curious as to how many of us aren't content with finishing the car and not reworking it again.

I know I usually can't leave well enough alone... :D

That's the way I am too. I'll always find something that I either don't like, want to add, or irritates me until I tear into it again.

I'll start with a beater, make it a daily driver, then go to either a street machine or a full resto. Usually by the 4th go around I have it the way I want it or I'm about to sell it and start over.

    I voted the same way.

The Maverick is a beater-nothing more. The Comet is fermenting in the shed until the day I can put all the parts I've been collecting on/in it,get it painted, and swap it over to a 5 speed. It'll be a resto-mod type driver/weekend racer.

My Comet has been painted once but needs to be repainted and body work done as well as undercarriage work. So it's never really done. Now i'm just waiting on that silly little thing called money.

My car I got it as just a rolling shell. I figured I would tear it apart any way so it made since to buy a shell. I love building a car from scratch then I can do anything I want.
