All: Sorry - don't have a pic because I failed to check the batteries in the camera before I left , but there was a very decent '71 Grabber, all original, white w/black accents, Cragar S/S wheels, 302 auto today at the Texas Motor Speedway show. Guy who owned it (not to be found) was looking to get $9500 for it, area code of the phone number began with "940". As a side comment - car shows like these are really great, BUT, I am consistently underwhelmed by the sheer volume of Camaros, Chevelles, Tri-Fives, and Mopar products at these venues. The Ford crowd (is there one??) seems to always be absent, with the exception of a rare sighting like the Grabber. One other highlight today was an all original 1968 Galaxie XL LTD 2 door hardtop w/428 motor that had been purchased originally by the owner in 1968. He went to 'Nam, his Mom kept his car, he drove it until 1990, parked it, had a new vinyl top put on it in 1999, rebuilt the motor, and did some minor cosmetic restoration. It was UNBELEVABLE. Just wish I would see more Ford products out there!! Chris
Seriously.. I went to the grand national rod run and it had around 4 miles of cars on each side of the road. And only 3 mavericks. Probably 300 camaros.
