All these years I have never know they had an adjustment on the ball stud.Ive been fighting a wandering feeling in my car for a while that got even more irritated with wide tires It just didnt feel right to me. Well yesterday I was out poking around and decided to see if the adjustment would make any differance so off came the cap and I turned the 1/2 nut at least 5 FULL turns before it got to 10 ft lbs WOW... reassembled and then it started raining :( today it cleared a little bit so i went for a drive I cannont believe the differance it has made.it has some road feel now :) so if you are considering ditching the p/s Give the adjustment a try then make your choice.:thumbs2:

Joe; try adjusting the steering gear, the nut and screw on top of the gear. Tighten it down till there is no play in the wheel, and lock it down.
