Wait a minute-------I had a brain fart on removing the trim when I said pop it off with a putty knife. The emblems work that way. For the trim, there's a nut on the backside of them. The putty knife thing won't work. agggggggggggh! I'd be interested in the driver's fender piece if it's in good shape when you get it off. The kind that goes on an LDO like in the pic. (other side though)
don't use putty knife. I got crossed up. The trim is held on with small nuts. You can access them from the fenders, but for the door trim you'll have to take off the interior door panel.
No the doors only have the nuts on the very ends the middle is held on with plastic clips that are held on by studs that are welded too the door, those just need to be ground flush. They use the same thing right above the wheel wells. Otherwise you need to unbolt the trim to remove it.
