cut some off....

    of my coil springs today. i took one complete 'coil' off of each spring (V8 a/c springs) and it dropped the front about 2 inches. trying to decide if i need to leave it alone or cut another 1/2 coil off.

    ill post pics tomorrow but needless to say, it looks ALOT better :yup:

    If you completely removed the spring before cutting...it will still be dropping until next month, so give it time before cutting more. If you compressed the spring on the car to cut give it a few days to see the results. One full coil is enough at one time. The next 1/2 coil might drop it too much.

    yup... i took the coil completely out, cut off what i wanted and re-installed. me and my brother had a simular conversation about the coils "settleing" back down but i figured they would be settled by tomorrow.... guess i was wrong, lol. i may give it some time and see what happens, just to be on the safe side. thanks :)

    i still have the painted bumper in the last pic for sale, and i also have a NICE front & rear bumper set as well....

    This would drop my front end so the sweet shackles have even MORE effect. Nice idea. Something to ponder.
