anyone else build a racecar a little at a time

    what kind of times are you running and where do you race. Your not real far from me and I might have seen you at the track

    i run low 12's in a quarter and 6.80 in an eight. i race at steel alabama

    you definately got that car doing right. What kind of fuel do you run. Have you seen a blue 2dr mav about a 71 model that runs about 7.30's. It belongs to a guy named jeffery narramore. I haven't seen it in a while

    thank you. ive got alot of time in this thing. ive had it since i was 15. been through a few motors and combinations til i finally got it where i want it. i know the car but i havent seen it in awhile

    wow you run 6.80s 1/8th and 12.s 1/4 thats weird whats your short time, a 6.80 1/8th should be at least 10.80s in the 1/4

    Yea something a little off with those times.:hmmm: I run mid 6's too but usually in the 10.70 to 10.80 range in the 1/4. I run a lot of gear so my 1/8 mile times are a little quicker than most 10.80 cars. I've been 6.62 at 102 in the 1/8. What kind of mph do you run?

    sorry. i was tottally half asleep poting that or drunk lol. i run a 7.40 at 95 and i run a 12.20 at 118. i pulled an 1180 once but ir was cooler out. i run 110 octane

    alot of my time is off the line. i leave at 3500 and hook up well

    That's good mph. I'm usually racing in Bristol TN so the air is not as good. I run in the 10.90's here but only run 118 to 119 for mph.:thumbs2:

    Yea my car is all 60 ft too. Usually in the high 1.30's with a best being 1.36

    ive not ran mine 1/4 yet ,but it runs 7.60s @ 87 to 89 mph and a best of 1.56 60 ft

    I use 4.86 for 1/4 mile and in the fall i put in the 5.43 for 1/8 mile. The convertor is pretty loose too!

    I have a 4.10, 8 inch with a mini spool ,think it will hold up with stock axels?
