In the rebuild process of my Edelbrock1405, it seem's that I have misplaced the "fuel bowl baffle plates"......not one, but BOTH of em, aaarggg!! I cant believe how stupid I feel right now!!

My hope is that someone out there either has an extra set they will sell me OR can direct me to a site where they might be for sale, this is of course if they are even available without having to buy an entire carb. Man, o, man.

    Thanks....Dave

did you try ebay or craigslist? might be easiest to just get a messed up 1405 and take the parts from there. Or post on the wanted section, see if someone has them.

I put a used 1406 that was missing the baffles on my brothers K10 a couple years ago and have never had any issues out of it , but if you are worried about it you should be able to get them from any parts store that carries edelbrock stuff . If they can`t find it in the catalog then make them call edelbrock .

Elliot, i got to thinking, and i tore this carb apart a few weeks before putting it back together and the more i thought about it, the more i am convinced these plates were not in my carb to begin with. I am a pretty organized person, and believe there is no way i could have lost both of these plates, so they werent there to begin with...i just never realized that, till now. Anyway i did get a hold of edelbrock and they are sending me some plates, so the issue is no longer, yeah baby!!!!
