Friends tube chassis maverick

could you get some pics. of the chassis before the body goes on that would be great and a big help to a lot of us building a full frame race car like myself

Raymond, the chassis is actually a chassis engineering kit. He specifically ordered the rear frame section welded to his specific dimensions, and the rest unwelded. I know the next time I get over the body will be mounted, but I'll try to get as many detailed pictures as I can. He's actually given me some new direction for my maverick once I start building it.
Good luck with your build. I will try to get over and get some pictures once a week if I can.

great thanks, I am thinking of moving my motor back as well

 

May want to rethink moving engine back that far. My 414 is app. 6 inches back, weight is near 51% front 49 rear. Gots loads of problems keeping back bumper from scrapping track. Just a thought to ponder. Good Luck an looks good!

 

Thanks, but the capri has the same engine setback. Wheelbase is less than the maverick. The main engine is a mild 557/glide combo. Runs bottom 9's on street et's. 60' times are mid 1.3's.
