i got in touch with them. im just going to send them my heads and let them do the necessary work to convert them to studs mounted pedistal setup. they do all the work, install new studs and install new guideplates all for $300 plus shipping both ways. IMHO, i think it's a deal

those heads really work good they were on a 302 that ran 7.20s in the 1/8th with a 500 lift hyh cam and victor intake ,3500 stall 9 to 1 comp. ,3.73 gears,in a 84 mustang ,it was a street car with exhaust and full interior ,i think the trans was a aod ,not sure on that ,im glad you guys are getting some use out of them ,i would have used them but i didnt want the extra comp. they would have made with my setup....im hoping to go to victor jrs some time later after next season, when my son has finshed high school class in drag racing,so we can speed our maverick up ,now were limited to 7.50s 1/8th, and with those heads we would have been way below that ...

I agree...same heads I have. I'm running a 347 with the Trick Flows, Victor intake, Holley 750 Proform, toploader, 4:30's, and I ran a 6.97 twice, mostly 7.0's after that. I changed to 3.89 gears and made it a tad more streetable and still running 7.0's. Car is running full interior, battery still up front, stock suspension with CalTracs, stock tank. Just a good street car. (y)

i got them with the maverick i bought all was told is what i said earlier ,he he had a 302 in a mustang and traded it for the maverick kept his motor ,never put it togather and traded it off for another mustang , then i traded a s10 for it ,and was told the story all i got was heads ,cam, lifters, intake , and a 750 carb.,so i put all the stuff that would fit into a 351w motor i had i dint think there was any no2 that i was told about ,i did see it had seen some action ...i would have used them but the chambewrs were to small for my setup, trying to keep my motor 89oc pumpgas friendly....but then i took the carb and built it for e85 ,so after next season im rasing the comp and adding a bigger cam ,might try rpm heads

dude i tried so hard to, i was suppose to get alot more stuff ,the guy i bought the car from said he had the full interior and body parts that were missing ect.....but he would never give me a name or address or # ,so i ran a thread on here trying to find info on the maverick ,look in my threads , got no response form anyone , it was from kentucky i know ,it was raced at several tracks there,i believe the guy i bought it from gave me good info ,because my mavericks runs just what i wanted it to,with the parts ,and i was judging by the times he said the parts would do im my car...
