Does anyone know how to remove the trim tag on the drivers door with out messing it up? And if I do mess it up is there anyone that can remake one? I am wanting to have the body soda blasted and do not want the tag to get messed up, so I would like to remove it before hand.
They are designed to self destruct if you try to remove em.I believe Kevin Marti will repop one with a marti report for you.
That is what I thought would happen, does any have a email or webb site for Kevin? And thanks for the help.
Yes, like Craig said. I've saved many of them doing just that. I also have ordered one from Kevin Marti because the original one was damaged and they are nice reproductions.
Last I checked, he cannot duplicate Canadian data plates. He will do a Canadian data plate in a US format as long as you sign a paper stating you know its not correct.
A little off-topic...I just noticed youre a Navy vet, my dad was in the Navy for 20 years, first stationed on the USS Harlan County then stationed at Little Creek NAB, he was a 1st Class PO, worked in the SeaBees division, Ive ran across someone who has known him, so I tend to ask everyone I see now
The decal is precut so when you remove it, the words VOID are left stuck to the car and the words VOID are removed from the decal.
