Anyone added driving lights to the front of their car? Did you use the valance, grille, behind grille, bumper/over or under and or added a modified feature to support them if they weren't attached to any of the above? ** If so, tell us how you set it up and of course post a pic of your work and a pic of the front of the car for all of us to see how they look. Might want to give specs on light size used etc. and include how effective they are for you.
Im interested in this also. I would like to make my amber parking lights in the grille driving lights but I'm not sure if this is possible or not.
so i was thinking about doing the additional grill lights (shelby style). I should add more lights behind the grill??? under the bumper, no?
Just be careful how close to the plastic grill you put them if you decide to go with that mounting position. I melted the grill in an old Chevy work van I had that way. As for fog lights V/S driving lights the answer is yes they are the same design, but are not the same. Fog lights have yellow lenses that cut through the fog and let you see the road better where driving lights have clear lenses that will glare off the fog possibly creating a worse vision condition. Hope this helps, -Scott H.
my valance lights have 2057 bulbs in them.... they are on the low side when the headlights are on high and high side when headlights are on low... ...
Are ur headlamps orig sealbeams or halogen type upgrades? If upgrades do they provide much better vision?
