my 302 roller is finally here! it is going in very soon. my engine was dyno'd at 406 horsepower out of the car. as in, with no transmission or car. i still have my original diff with 1 wheel drive. i am wondering if anyone else out there in the 350 - 400 hp range has broken motor mounts. i have been trying to find aftermarket performance mounts and ...... well you know the story. I am not the most aggressive driver, but i do like a good smoke show now and then. let me know what your experience is. thank you.

I have broken the left mount with less than 400 HP on tap...heck less than 350HP.
You may want to consider a torque strap set up of some sort.Or solid mounts(not fun in a street car)

    I've had a few
I've heard drilling a hole through the mount and putting a bolt through it works well. Never done it myself though.

I use a turnbuckle from a hole in the frame up to a hole in the head. Then just tighten it up. :)

Here is how pinned my mounts in my Falcon. I don't have a V8 Maverick mount in my hand to look at but I'm think the same thing could be done. http://1bad6t.com/motormounts.html
