This is a couple of pictures of my buddies Comet GT, we were test fitting the 351W in it. This car is in real good shape, cowls are good, and the floors are solid. He is planning on putting a 4 speed in it also.

as you can see there is not much room for headers and then changing plugs (unless you cut holes in the towers) is a headache . but I am putting one in my car as well :banghead:

Dang, that engine looks like it came out of the buried Plymouth in Oklahoma! Where's it been, in a river somewhere?:hmmm:

I still got the Maverick I got from you just minus a few parts :)

The engine came out of a 70 Cougar that was rolled about 20 years ago. Been in a old shed waiting for the right car and right time to be built :)

Are you going to modify the shock towers? I ran a 351w in my Grabber and didn't. It was a nightmare to do the plugs. Good luck with it.:)

OK, that makes sense. I knew it looked like it had been in muddy water or something.

we got it in without modifing the shocktowers, had to trim the exhaust manifolds some and play around with some different engine mounts he had laying around. Now we know how it goes ,time to get back out and tear it apart.
