I plan to build a 347 for my maverick and it will be a drag only car. I have a 6cylinder c4 in it so I figured it would not last no time. I have a c4 from a 351w too. I was wondering what would need to be done to one to take a 347. I saw the ati c4's from summit and I would have a hard time paying $1700 for a transmission.

I have one sitting in the garage. Will probably get it installed in a few weeks. I also bought a TC from them 'cause the price was good on that too.

Pauls recommended Broader Perf. The number is on the web site. Talk to Jay. He takes calls, or returns them, before noon Central Time. See his ad in Short Horns. Be sure to mention the club discount if/when you order.

Prices are listed with each transmission. They don't jump off the screen but they're there. They start at $850, before the club discount. That's the one I have.

mustangs unlimited has the pa supercomp transmission for $1000 so thats pretty good. I might go with the one jsarnold posted since it should be plenty strong enough

It's too bad you are so far away. I have a Model A hot rod with blown flathead and bought a new PA C4/streetfighter to put behind the flathead, then a friend gave me his built C4 and I have never used it. I bought it for $650 and would let it go for that..........................not sure what the freight would be though.
