I reorganized the classifieds forums a little bit and added thread prefixes.

Now when you will create a new thread, you will be forced to select a thread-prefix.

I like it too. The colors I guess I would have to get used to.

The colours will help distinguish what type of ad it is.

I new there was a purpose, I just need to get used to it. Especialy the fact that they (some) seem neonish.

I personally don't like the colors, looks crayola-ish to me.

I've been on many forums, and usually when they start adding more sub categories and things like that it goes to crap.

I don't see a point in having maverick/comet parts seperate. It's not that hard for someone to post "Comet Hood" or "Comet Grill" instead of just "Hood"

I guess it's for the people that are to lazy to do so.

But, it's Stefan's board and let him do what he wants. I just don't see it being the best thing for the classifieds section, and I respect his decision

I dont really see anyone saying "Well Im not posting my part because its too colorful" or "Im not going to look for the part I need here because its too colorful" either :p

I dont think anything is going to change, but I could be wrong..

At first I didnt like it, and it does look too cluttered...perhaps a small graphic would be more appropriate?

Heres some I just threw together....it wont look so cluttered up with simple images thats all the same size...Blue is Maverick stuff...Orange is Comet stuff and Gray is Other stuff

No problem, feel free to use those or I can make a new set for you, just let me know what size you want them and what you want them to look like. :thumbs2:

Thanks for all the work on improving the classified section. :yup:

While those color coded "for sale" things work... who will remember what color equals what?

I originally started this thread because I thought that the Cars for Sale should be separated from the Parts for Sale. I don't think the Comets have to be separated from the Mavericks. I also don't think we need all of the different catagories for the parts. My original thought was Cars for sale and Parts for sale ...
