Hello, from a new Maverick guy

    Glad to find you guy's. I just purchased my first Maverick, a 1972 and after reading your forum I found out it is a sprint. It has been repainted red with black strips, and heavily modified under the hood with a 1970 500 ci. caddy motor bored .30 over with a comp cam and edelbrock performer
    intake, but a very nice rust free body. I really like this little car, and see why you guys do also. I am sure I will be asking lots of question as I go from here.

    Welcome to the forum. Neat car. Did they change the front end to a Mustang ll or aftermarket. Does the door tag say rb for the interior code?

    Yes, there has been a front end change, just not sure what they have done. The the door tag has RB as the trim code. I think I read somewhere that was for the Sprint ??
