The fact is, if im going to spend 30,000 dollars on a maverick, im going to make it myself the way i want it.

i cant see the red one being worth 30 grand. all the effort and money went into paint, wheels, and tires. the motor is nothing special. looking at the engine compartment there is the big yellow but connector next to the shock tower. on a car like that i wouldnt have a butt connector anywhere that it could be seen, let alone in a highly detailed engine compartment. i have no doubt that there was lots of money spent on that car. it was all in labor, and you dont get labor value out of a car. only parts value. i can see maybe 15 grand in parts on that car.

Is it just me, or does that pic of the red Mav make that certain Mav look fat? for some reason, it just seems way bigger than what it should be.

By his name, it sounds like he might be a transplanted Brazilian himself. If that is the case, he might be used to seeing Mavs actually go for some serious coin down there.

At this juncture, I have not seen any Mavericks or Comets that have brought $20,000 price tags, much less $30,000. I believe I did see one sell for $15,000. I suppose if an individual wants to put $30,000 in their car, that is their personal decision. However, they should never expect to recover their full investment or make a profit on it.

This is a very nice car, with obviously a great deal of time and investment made. However, when you get into higher investment vehicles, you restrict your selling opportunities. Someone would have to really want this car to pay a price like this one.

As PT Barnum said, though, "There's a sucker born every day."

The low profile tires, the color of the rims, and the addition of the rocker/exhaust cover's do seem to give it a wider look.

I like the car overall its done pretty tastefully. However I think the 20's make it sit way to high. If your going to have wheels like that they need to tuck. It does seem a little wider as well.
